This thread will be updated frequently with bits of news that can't be fit in Mortal Kardboard or Turbo HD Remix. Check regularly for event information and current Top 4 rankings, as well as additional bits of news.

CURRENT EVENTS:

9-11-2011
The new system for determining regular contenders for each championship has been decided on! Each will have it's own Top Four contendership qualifiers.
The T4s are unique for each championship, however they all share a common characteristic. Four men will be chosen who management feel are the most worthy for a particular championship. At the moment we are only releasing information on the Earthlings T4 and Cardboard T4, but frequent this thread for information on how the House T4, Nuclear T4 and Duoritos T4 will be handled.

Earthlings T4
Four men are chosen by ACES! management that are deemed the current top or more marketable performers in the promotion. They will compete in a single elimination tournament leading to the next ACES! event. The winner of the tourny will receive a match for the Earthlings championship at that event.

Cardboard T4
The current system that the Cardboard championship functions under will remain the system that is used to produce contenders. The cardboard division is a fast paced division that deserves frequent title matches to entertain the ACES! fans.

So at Wheelin and Dealin (May have even been Ladderpalooza) they introduced the fact Mick Foley is getting replaced as GM by some black shade dude. Is there going to be a follow up to that or what?

ACES! Update:

Some major changes to ACES! in general will be coming over the next couple of days. These include possible booking team switches and a changeup in the management department. This could also effect the show on Saturday and may see it delayed by either another week, or just see some of the things switched around and have half of the show done live.

The youtube page has been unpinned and now we'll just post updates for that in this thread. The Youtube page is still http://youtube.com/theacesource, and I still haven't updated it yet.

ACES! NXT Rookies have been made and created, and now they're ready to rumble. The pairings for the rookies will be:

The Doorbusters with the Admiral John Cardinal the pirate and his wench, Wendy Dove.
Ice Cold Stair will get the lovely and overpowered Stone Cold Stacy Keibler as their own rookie.
Laura Brennan's rookie will be Bianca, you know, that girl from Pokémon.
Adventure Time will be gaining the services of WWA Alumni Netjester, along with his family, Big, Little and Homosex.
Team Discovery Channel will team up with hip hop... well he had that one hit onetime, Chop Hooch.

This leaves White Henry, soon-to-be the toughest white man in ACES!; The Great Duff, a man who is the master of seventeen different martial art styles; Buzz Killington, the man who can appreciate a good joke alongside his wife Negative Nancy; Ken Doe-Stick, a fat man who enjoys taking a kendo stick to ringside with him and his sister Jane Doe-Stick, exactly the same as her brother but with breasts and probably better stats. These five rookies (White, Duff, Buzz, Ken and Jane) are free pick for whoever wants in on the season, just post saying you're interested, and who you would like to take on.

John Cardinal: Argh I wouldn't think so highly of yeself laddy. For ye see, the tides are a changin here in ACES. From what I see before me is nothin but a mere guppy amongst an ocean of sharks waitin to be torn to shreds yahahar.

I'm always looking for a witty knight-in-training. Buzz can surely be my rookie.
